  1. can run along Shenton Way, turn right at Marina Boulevard fronting the Bay (instead of going straight down to Esplanade and floating platform),turn left at Bayfront Ave and run alongside Marina Sands until Helix Bridge. Use the connecting underpass between the Helix Bridge and the F1 track (no barriers just a normal underpass with some steps). Run along the path between the river and F1 track all the way to Nicoll Highway. No barriers to climb over/under.

the barriers are towards the end of marina promenade near the sea sports centre. Not major barriers la, although they disrupt momentum abit. Lazy people tend to find it hard to get moving again after stopping

Last Friday when I went passed, there wasn't any but maybe they will put up more over the weekend in view of the YOG boat racing being held there.

  2. she is different league...5-6km is just a warm up/down :showoff:

I'm newbie what. Mommy said if don't know must ask. TIGGER BULLY MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :cray:

this is a route where some of the runners run at tempo pace all the way...

some do fartlek along the way...

while the rest of us are glad that we can complete the distance :D

last time out it was more like steeplechase, had to climb over/under barriers

    No more Mickael? :D

  4. I know it is CNY and everybody wants to wear new clothing - but if it rains within 2 days before the run, the trail may be wet and muddy so please try not to wear new shoes.

Also, please note there are no toilets or water point in the Tampines MBT and finally although there is a nice toilet at Sun Plaza Park, there is no shower facilities.

  5. Last evening we celebrate 4th year anniversary for CBD RUN.

Well, it has been a long time. Felt like yesterday when we started the run. It was fun throughout the past year. We meet many new faces + old faces throughout the past year. The run has to move on with times. Same like everything in life, we pursue our goals and move on. The essential is that the spirits remains no matter it "rains or not".

As per traditional, there is a run + makan(pot luck) to mark this special occasion.

A short run to Esplanade. I felt everyone did Pacesetter run on the weekend welcome this short run to soothe the aching leg. Around 4-5km, less than 30mins we are done and the makan begins.

A photo session + lots of feeding(willingly or force), we finish the food. :P

It threatens to rain, but...it didn't as expected. This is our 4th anniversary. Rains or Not, the run + makan will goes on.

So sad I can't come for this. I miss the food run :cray:

It was an interesting evening at the I-Run @ River Promenade this Thursday as Team FatBird was joined by specially selected contestants of the LOSE TO WIN contest at the I-Run @ RP. The media was on hand to capture the workout and run by these dedicated group of contestants who were on a 3-month fat-to-fab kind of journey in a bid to lose pounds and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Oh so those guys were with you. Saw them running past and a friend and I were admiring their dedication and humor in wearing the t-shirt

  7. think its paper, not plastic =)

    it's litter :Rolling Eyes:

i cycled down this morning to check and to pick up whatever we left behind but it seems it has all been cleared up.. =)

the cleaners should have swept it all up on Sat morning already but anyway :Applause:

  8. Fatbird made it to the newspaper again. Awesome! :smilie_daumen1: But what were those papers floating in the air?

Something like the Christmas or party Crackers.... to create the atmosphere and to commence the run. ^_^

    Ultra

Not very environmentally friendly leh :Shame On You:

  9. Although I did not see any one of the 4:45 pacers, nevertheless I would like to thank them all cos I was running and trying desperately to catch up with you guys and that eventually allowed me to finish just a little wee bit off the 4:45 timing.

  10. Hello hallo. Nice run yesterday, but then again, it was MF, so it's always nice haha. Thanks to Chacha who bought extra drinks, and tiwazz (?) for providing cups. See you guys next week and all the best for those training for the upcoming marathon! (:

Thanks for the cake, little girl. It was delicious.

Thanks also to Chacha for the drinks.

As usual, I enjoy the run up MF.
