no need for road closure.
no need for direction board.
no need to put distance marker. no complain from runners on inaccurate distance marker....
only need to have water point near the checkpoint....

What if participants take public transport or other means as shortcuts between check points? Allowed?
if want to cheat and still win the prize, then better dun get caught lor...
might as well ask some friends to standby a few cars to ferry to control point....

I mean, how is the organisers going to look out for such cheats?

based on the belief that most of the runners will be honest and not attempt to cheat....

I think in their site they say,
For teams not all members have to cross each check point.
So some can skip lah.
