Start Point: Tampines 1
CP1: Hougang Mall
CP2: YCK Sports Hall
CP3: Sembawang Sea Sport Center
CP4: Republic Poly
CP5: Kranji Turf Club
CP6: Railway Mall Banquet
CP7: Jurong Trade Hub Macdonald
CP8: Kent Ridge Park
CP9: Tiong Bahru Plaza
CP10: Youth Olympic Park
End Point: Liang Court

if run..just 2/3 of walk time..example..completing 100km in 24 hours..means about 16-hour+ for abled and fit runners..

uncle shall go solo 100km walk fast fast challenge recovery.. i.e. after SC marathon run on 2nd dec..actually route very easy to follow..just find out bus routes from CP to CP..long-cut or short cut, snip route here and there..as long as 10km should do..day/night hydration/nutrition..24-hour convenience stores all need to know.. along the way..just follow participants..last time only more than 100+ for the 100km challenge, small die-hard ultramarathon walkers/runners type..should be easy to spot them..yipee..ultramarathon..uncle likes..some more with uncle's new pet..shy shy "pit boar" with leather muzzle..something that looks like this.. http://www.all-about...og-dog1_LRG.jpg

uncles uses the bus routes for recce..solved..so easy..routes..all reversed..Start Point at Youth Olympic Park and End Point at Tampines 1... and that will be Uncle's DIY 100km Fun Road Walk/Run Challenge ...24-hour convienance stores for DIY nutrition and hydration needs...

anyway.. this event is for charity..so everyone need to form teams..to raise funds for charity..quick..sign up..and uncle wishes all have a great pre-christmas walk..for charity..

ok, uncle awaiting for NTU 130km Cycle..route still not out yet..looks like 2013 events..all coming so soon...and the 2012 events all coming to end soon..bye bye

Hi Hong Chew, if you don't mind, we can try to form a team upfront first, and see if we can find a 3rd member.

50km/100km START POINT - Raffles Place MRT
CP1 - Mcdonald's @ Ridout Tea Garden
CP2 - McDonald's Place
CP3 - Ang Mo Kio Hub
CP4 - Punggol Point Park
CP5 / 50km END POINT - Pasir Ris MRT
CP6 - Changi Ferry Terminal
CP7 - East Coast Park Area G
CP8 - East Coast Park Area D
CP9 - Macdonald's @ Kallang
100km END POINT - Istana Park

wah, uncle now got two 100km walk/run routes for 2013 ultramarathon road training.. shoik ah.. sign up for early bird by 15 Oct.. must be a Team of 3-6.. $50 for 50km (starts at 8am) or 100km (starts at 9am)..otherwise..$60.. have fun walk ultramarathon!

bro beast.. uncle looked out for 3rd person to join you to form a team..in other forums..

you cannot believe what uncle just did.. yes..ran the 1/3 of the 100km route..at 10k pace..

START POINT - Raffles Place MRT
CP1 : Mcdonald's @ Ridout Tea Garden (Queensway)
CP2 :McDonald's Place (opp. Nee Ann Poly)
CP3: Ang Mo Kio Hub

uncle uses roads, PCN tracks..except for CP2 to CP3.. uncle uses Rifle Range Road.. cut through MacRitchie..trail run routes (BT Reserve to MR)..straight to Venus CP..heads to Ang Mo Kio Ave 2..Bishan Park..AMK Hub.. instead of Adam, Lornie, Marymount..Bishan Park..AMK Hub

CP1 to CP2.. bukit timah road..mrt under construction..narrow pedestrain pathway..
CP2 to CP3...if follows proper route..feels like U turn bukit timah road..back to Farrer Road..actually opposite of Farrer Road is Adam Road..in order to head to MacRitchie..what a big turn..and that's why uncle decided to "bash through" MacRitchie, from McDonald's Place, head to opp. Bukit Timah Plaza..just enter into BT Reserve.. of course, today see many NF 100 participants..checking out race routes.. oct 13 is actual race day..some got to start oct 12 for longer distance..100km solo..

if you wish there are convenience stores along the way.. forget it.. and place to rest.. PCN tracks benches..ok..hot and sweaty during the day..but, if night..cool and tiring..tempted..but must move on..hunger sure makes your body aching and tiring and mental state - low morale..but for those whom would have pledge for every km of the walk effort.. should be worthwhile..that's why the cause..for charity.

stay on.. uncle shall check out CP3: AMK Hub to CP4: Punggol Point Park to CP5: Pasir Ris MRT..next week..

as for Pasir Ris MRT to End Point - Istana Park (50km).. uncle has done most of that in the last Sundown Ultra Marathon 100km ending marina barrage.. but, just do for fun..part of Standard Chartered Marathon 2012 run..mock warmup..

must agree.. walk 100km is serious matter.. not meant for those who have not done any ultra distance endurance before..some more must work together and look after the physical and mental needs of members within the team.. group dynamics..equally important.. and the time..beyond 24-hour.. respect for those who really sign-up.. :goodjob:
