Anyone knows if there are medals given out?

There isnt any medal for this event.

uncle being to the Republic Poly.. access to the site.. quite a distance from the woodlands mrt stn.. see lots of Republic Poly students commute to campus..if for first timer..how far.. at least 20-30min walk.. yes got short-cut..but before reaching junction, traffic stop..see poly there reach already..wait here..cross here..wait there..cross there..so starting point at campus..for those staying not at woodlands..wah, so far to start run..

yes, for charity..so no medals..run for worthy cause..Nam Hong Welfare Service Society..so take part for the passion of run and charity and love..

the attraction :"New 10km Route featuring Seaside view".. woodlands faces strait of johor..so have some seaside view..maybe woodlands water front.. so the route covers let's see..woodlands industrial and commercial hub..beside roads..with the longest distance cover almost half of admiralty west.. of course admiralty east is to sembawang..for those safra navy swim trial at biathlon..camp and club is at end admiralty east side..

only when return trip from admiralty west then the PCN tracks all the way..actually beside Republic Poly there is a very nice Admiralty Park..strangely..no route leads there or cut through the Park..why National Park cannot give permit?..the park has some slopes and nice landscape..great for love birds..

oh, the prisons..khalsa prison and admiralty west prison on both sides of admiralty west..interesting..reminds Yellow Project Run at changi..uncle must stay overnight there to taste experience..one-day..like Yellow Project Run polling by sgRunners..medals, t-shirt, etc..

another run event on the West..just like Jurong Lake run..but this one got more on roadside curbs..and then PCN tracks..all the way..West..often a hotter region..start time 5pm...as they say, sun always set on the west side...so enjoy the western setting sun at the seaside view..or rather at the Straits of Johor..

for a change of charity event often held at the "boring" ECP tracks..can always taste the different charity run held at the west..but, prepare for the warm-up walk to Republic Poly..if organiser can..give directions and short-cuts to first timers who don't go to campus to study..if can reach from woodlands mrt to start site within 15-min without running will be great.. .you know some runners..pampered like uncle type..take aircon coach like sundown events to run start site like as though pay fee means VIP treatment..

kudo for the event..looks like need the runners from the West to give the upmost support for a truly worthy cause..bye bye, uncle runner from the East
