The cut-off times for each category is as follows:
  • Full Marathon (42.195 km) - 6 hours
  • Half Marathon (21.1 km) - 3 hours

ekiden - min requirement is 2 females but the distance is short. 21km in total with combo of 3 and 5km.

21km and 42km only 5 dollar different.!!! ...i dun want to run full..... but more value for $$..:(

KL marathon or HK marathon?
In terms of slopes or hills or bridges .....

I think around the same. But hk weather makes it easier to run. KL is like singapore . Hot and sticky .

Also don't forget the traffic. HK have no worries about traffic whereas KL still have to be cautious when crossing roads even though there is suppose to have traffic controllers.

I signed up today. I run in this event once in every 2 years and just want to see whether I or the terrain change. :D

+$5 can have a Tee, a powergel and a banana hahaha.

Need to train harder these few months

may i know how to get there and accomdation? as i know over there, they do not provide transport service like what we have here. (24 hours train service).

last year they started the train services early. also they had shuttle buses from a few locations.
easiest is to stay around chinatown.
