Thank you everyone for coming!

It was an unexpected turn out for today's Lunarcake Celebration! I have had lotsa fun and get to experience "childhood" again. It was fun with the paper lanterns, hello kitty and dear daniel, dolphine and powerpuff girls!

a very warm and nice LunarCake Celebration by the River Promenade...romantic too...hehe

thanks to the great effort by Terry, FruitLoops, Niwas and gang, contributions of those yummilicious mooncake by Byron, ckoksing and many others, lanterns from DO, Raven, as well as the fun-loving, always-laughing company of babes and hunks of SgRunners and I-Runners....really enjoyable....and yes, the weather was immaculate this evening....it took a long time for the group to move away from the FatBird Statue to the Kopi Rendevous :)

SO HIGH? Siao liao.

I eat one slide of durian mooncake. half of the vegetarian mooncake. cham cham

eh no la i said i dunno lol. i dunno what it is, anyway i remembered it was Cokiee who said it (if i remembered correctly), can go ask him. but anyway, u probably burned more energy running than the energy value of the mooncakes (if u ran hard enough :P).

although i remember reading in the straits times a year back or so that one normal mooncake was about 1000 calories. but got run then never mind la haha.

It was really great fun last night, and great meeting the i-run group and team fatbird again. And some of the new faces which I had met first time.

As usual, the i-run 7km was fast and furious with many fast runners. Ya.....another thing about this i-run at RP is that you have to be extra careful when running along clarke quay, as quite alot of pedestrain walking along there, and not forgetting the diners/waiters. If you are not careful, might bump into the pedestrain or waiters. Imagine if the waiters is carrying something, there goes the food hahaha!!!

The Lunarcake celebration started immediately after the i-run cool down. DO was really busy last night, distributing lanterns, fireworks stick, mooncakes, etch hahaha!! The mooncake was nice, especially the durian one, which gone in matter of mins.

Thanks to Terry and those who had involved in this event. Can see alot of us enjoying ourselves last night.

    • Hmmm - maybe he is talking to us from the other side 😲  I mean have any of you seen him? Finally got to 50 pushups yahoo....... got to 100 leg lifts yesterday......only failed on my target of 150 situps
    • Unless its Halloween though, I wouldn't recommend buying the ones with skull designs on the front. 😅 It unnerves a lot of people. You might give some old uncle or auntie a heart attack, especially if you run at night...
    • Thanks for sharing. While Cori Mask was more breathable than the fabric one, it is not durable. I am going to get a buff mask for my daily runs right after the CB measures has been lifted tomorrow.
    • Uncle, not yet 7th month already talk about bros & sis from 'the other side'? 😂
    • uncle calls it Sabbatical Leave of Absence... After nearly 10 years in sgRunners, so what's uncle contribution in the coming sgRunner's 15th Anniversary.. uncle "kena blacklisted"...most negatives in sgRunners history...hope someone can beat the record...   There was a 3-year period when uncle had been with the JustRunLah! forum...chat with angmoh runners...pretty model and influencer ...  @trailblazeron topics on Running with Coaching issues...and FatBird Founder (aka uncle's cohort Sg Coach) dropped by to say "Hello, uncle...how's life?"   this one forum thread at JustRunLah! had more than 100,000 viewership...may have been "linked" worldwide..average was more than 100+ daily [non-members]..GUESTS..   Yes, uncle being in Trail Running...was the mascot and host...knows almost all previous and present Trail routes...like 100km ones also...talk silly of all festivals celebrated including 7th Lunar Month...all Routes Run Around Singapore...encounters with ghostly bros and sis... Well it is Sunday already...uncle got to MIA by 2359...for uncle is "grumpy" and long-winded here..so..must stop for the sake of ALL... for ghostly runners awaiting for uncle...from the other side...quiet there...hear no complain always...and wear no mask always...😷
