Dream, I am very very sorry... Woke up late just now, I think body was a bit tired, woke up at 540am, but somehow my hand went to off the alarm without my brain's concensus... Sorry to fly this aeroplane.

Hope you guys are having a good run now! The weather looks good from my house area. I shall go for my own run now...

It was a nice run in good weather and great company of the Lucky 13 that showed up...Soloman, DO, Kayano, YN, Spencer, Beverly, KokSan, Ang, Matthew, Hadfiz (friend from KL Pacesetters), Hokkien Beng, Suan and Dream started off from ECP F2 car park who did 18km-23km. A satisfying run, topped with yummilcious Lor Mee and Chee Cheng Fun @ Old Airport Market.

No problem, ericx. We will be doing the NewtonActive familiarization run tomorrow, and the SAFRA Tampines Location Run next Sunday. Hope to catch more of you then.

yes, Sunday parking is per entry, i think $2 for SAFRA members, and $3 for non-members.

For SAFRA Running Club members, you are encouraged to put on your club running top :)

    • 💪💪POWER~~~~ I salute you sir~~ 👍👍👍
    • Was looking forward to the actual run as I've never participated in this event before. Completed the 21km virtual run yesterday. Initially thought was only given 2 weeks to upload result which would be unfairly difficult given the short notice if one has not been running regularly. Fortunately, I've been running 21km every weekend since March. First time did 2x 21km within 4 days. Thankfully my Plantar Fasciitis is still holding up.
    • OhMyGod, 50 pushups, well done 👍   Saw Lexus Tan facebook, he own self say know qi gong, can apply.    I scare scare, should I call?
    • Slightly OT, but from the Straits Times article quoted by Lady Ice: A time of 2:46:57 is fast of course. Impossibly fast for a slow runner like me, but whenever I look at race results from marathons elsewhere in the world, and compare it to the times of our best runners of countries in Southeast Asia, even if one were to exclude the times of African runners from the equation, our runners here in SE Asia appear to be outclassed. I've always wondered why??? 🤔 Even in Japanese marathons, the Japanese winner's times are usually at 2:30++ on average. Are we at some disadvantage because we live in a hot climate, compared to those in temperate countries? When I mentioned to a runner from Victoria (AUS) that I usually run in temps of 27-33C, his jaw dropped...
