CBD Runners Gather - 2015 (Every Tuesday) cbd run

Recommended Posts

Thanks to Tigger and Tiwazz for the programme. I glad I did it. I didn't do Houdini act hor. Hahaha, felt strange after the sets, body felt quite warm. I think it helps me to try and maintain each set time to be about the same. Look forward to the rest of the CBD runs but I won't be in town next week.

Me too :D I was very glad to join in the training session yesterday. Kam sia to Tigger and Tiwazz for coordinating the run and looking after us. Realised that I have a lot to learn about interval training still, and hope to understand what is the best pace for me in time to come :)

aiyoh, didnt realise the previous session was interval (ie very near my office & i cldve maybe joined)

but anyway, just curious, what were the paces we are supposed to run at for a 6x1km interval session? 5k pace?

I assume rest length is the same as usual, ie 3min after last runner.

what pace to run have to depend on what are you training for? Your goal is 10km/21km/42km race?

Typically as a norm, without any target(event) in mind. a 5km pace is sufficient enough. Our target at this moment is SCSM07, we will be doing 10km pace.

For long distance event, it is good to do interval at 10km pace.

U still need discount meh after ur ninja? More likely, I have to ask for discount. :Black Eye:

haha...that is when u miss the point of doing 6 sets.

next time do 10 sets, confirm will remember to do 10km pace instead of 5km pace.

Discount means if I aim to do 6 sets of 1km, each set I aim for timing of 5min. You, with say 10% discount, means you have to do the 6 sets of 1km at timing of 4min30sec, got it?
