From what u mention, I not sure which model of tights you are refering to for each brand. I only know the Nike Pro. 1 thing the Nike Pro have is compression which is important. So do look out for that. Other factors to consider will be whether the tights have pockets etc.

Btw, remember to check ur caps lock key and also intro urself at the new member section! =)

Hi ac_milan2000,

If you got no time, then too bad. That's your problem. You need to solve that yourself.

You want a range, go to Running Lab either at Funan Ctr or Novena Velocity Ctr.

They have Zoots Ultra, Sugoi, Nike, New Balance.

You can find a range of tights and prices there. You want cheap and good below S$40, get the Saucony. Do a search in this thread here and I have post a place to get Saucony with 40% discount at their office. I got mine at way below S$40.

Running Lab is a one-stop shop for all running thingy.

All have 24 hours. You make time and you will have time.

Here wishing you in advance in finding back your lost time in Year 2008.

Cheers !

Kayano

That is more like it.

As to why we do not type in Cap Letters.

It is pretty similar to email etiquette.

http://www.emailreplies.com/#9capitals

IF YOU WRITE IN CAPITALS IT SEEMS AS IF YOU ARE SHOUTING. This can be highly annoying and might trigger an unwanted response in the form of a flame mail. Therefore, try not to send any email text in capitals.

Quality wise , I will choose Nike Pro Tights.

Budget wise, I will choose Waveline Tights.

seems that you already know what you want and where to get them, then why are you still asking for recommendations here only to shoot any offered down?

by the way, courtesy is free you know?

1stly, typing is caps is rude becoz its equivilent to shouting.

2ndly, eijaij's answer is not lame; he's putting a good point that you need to heed.

3rdly, Unless there's anyone of us working here as retail personnels in sports shops, we wont know whether retail outlets would be having sale or not in the future. If you want to know, your best bet is to be on friendly terms with the pple from the outlets and let them notify you in advance.

4thly, "cheap n good" are all perspectives. Your perspective is base on brand conscious since you already stated that "nike is like a brand that is not into track and field". If that's the case, then just buy whatever brand you prefer, what's the point of asking here then?

5thly, if you really want the top grade, then settle for Compression Garments like CWX or SKins. But a pair of tights would easily cost over $100.

Finally, if you want to enjoy your stay here, pls be more courteous and thoughtful in your replies. Forum at SGRunners is not a come-and-go information super-highway; its a venue of interaction where respect and courteous can let you go a long way.

I'M GONNA TELL YOU SOMETHING AND IM GONNA SAY IT TO YOU STRAIGHT TO YOUR FACE. SHOUTING IS RUDE AND BECAUSE OF THAT YOU'RE QUITE IRRITATING. IN ADDITION TO THAT IF YOU'RE ASKING FOR ADVICE YOU'RE MAKING A REQUEST AND HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE DEMANDING TO KNOW.

Now certainly you wouldn't like that, would you? Whilst i understand that you've got an insatiable urge to purchase a pair of tights for training, i'm quite sure there are other ways which you can ask, one of them being politely.

Now perhaps you're new to the internet, or forums. Basically as phillip has mentioned, typing in caps is tantamount to screaming, and if there's no good reason, you don't do that in person, would you? Now even if you had a good reason, you'd still try no to do it. So don't. You're a forum user, and you've got rights. But so do others.

Second. When people give you an opinion when you've asked for some, accept it, even if it doesn't meet your expectations, or if you find it to be of no use at all. You asked for it, people obliged, take it graciously. And we're not even talking about being appreciative here.

To top it off, contrary to what it seems to you, we're really not interested if you're a good person. It's got nothing to do with us. But the forum is a shared space, so respect that. And that, really, is what is of importance.

And yes, if you're wondering why i've typed so much and still not made any recommendations, it's because i've chosen not to.

Hi ac_milan2000,

I am glad you are responding well to our feedback. Thank you

Here is the contact:

First-2 marketing sports Pte Ltd

15 Kaki Bukit View

Singapore 415951

Contact Godfrey Wee

h/p: 9727 3166

Office: 6748 8890 (Gabriel)

You can get 40% off Saucony products and running apparels. Do call them before you go down as Godfrey Wee or Gabriel may not be at the office all the time however there are some nice ladies staff in the office. They can also help you.

Running Lab is one option you can go to also. There is a range of tights(for running and for tri). If you can wait, suggest you go to the Sports Expo next weekend when participants collect their Race Pack for December 2 marathon. Pearl Iszumi has a booth there. Their running tights is very good and expensive.

Have fun shopping.

Cheers !

Welcome AC_Milan2000

Talking about shorts. I have been using those $12 to $15 NB shorts from the Warehouse sale/Race Expo. So far so good but lately for long runs I have been expriencing chaffing (at you know where).

Will certainly bring some money to the Expo.

Oni tried NB n Zoot tights before... Zoot is good la... Haha

got pockets even for their tri series.. Den again its nt very kind on e pocket

New Balance offer a cheaper alternative i suppose..

Not bad n quite worth it for its cheaper price..

Heard gd stuff abt nike n mizuno tights though i haven tried either

Ultimate would be compression tights lik philip mentioned

Albeit that would come at a higher cost also. Happy shopping!
