Milano City Marathon

anyone who will be doing the florence marathon the week earlier on 25 nov 2007, can consider doing this as well... :tongue_smilie:

or for those who want to do something other than the usual SCSM... take note of the very reasonable registration fee... :Big Grin:

ENROLMENT FEE

€ 5.00 for athletes who have run in all previous Milano City Marathons

€ 30.00 (with payment by 10 November 2007)

€ 40.00 (with payment from 11 to 25 November 2007)

€ 70.00 (with payment from 26 to 29 November 2007)

Milano City Marathon 2007

I wonder if the Florence marathon will run by how many of the David statue, and whether will it pass by the Pisa leaning tower?

Hehe, will be a good thing if SCSM adopts the same enrolment scheme.

20% of the early rates , rather than 20% off :D:P

but i really like the € 5.00 for athletes who have run in all previous Milano City Marathons... :Big Grin:

it's really a great reward to attract those who did all previous races... :smilie_daumen1:

Think jodan means for athletes who are previous partcipants, they get 80% off the rates compared to SCSM which gives 20% off.

Great if SCSM can adopt this too... :Big Grin:

Ripley Wow, ALL previous marathons. It did not click at first, cos I thought overseas marathons have rich histories. Had thought that this marathon is in its 10 or 20 years edition.

We left Lucca this morning & arrived Pisa just past noon. After checkg in, went up leaning tower, II duomo, baptistry, cemetary & 2 museums. Then we went to buy train tickets. At the counter, sales person said no train tomorrow. I asked about bus. He said no bus, no flight, no train cos they are on strike tomorrow. Wah! So zhun hor. On strike leh. Quickly checked with cfred who confirmed the info. Fennel suggested we leave for Milan tonite but I was reluctant. After dinner, I decided that is the best choice since no matter what, we've to take train. Better to sleep at station than spend additional nite in Pisa no knowing when the strike will end. After buying (tics bought @ 6.30pm) the 7.29pm tics, we ran backto check-out. Then we ran back to the train station @ 7.20pm. Lucky us! Fennel was such a strong runner. Dispite carrying 2 back packs (1 front 1 back) & a camera bag, she still out run me by at least 250m. Anyway, dun worry folks. We should be fine. Its one hellava experience! P.S. Dun sms us. Expensive lah. :P
