Running as a solitary fitness or mental healthy pursuit is one thing, but for many runners, the social aspect of the sport comes out in racing. Races are community celebrations of the running lifestyle. That part of the sport has been dealt a devastating blow, and officials fear it could take years to recover.

After completion, runners upload their results to the RunKeeper app, where race leaderboards will be compiled. Anyone who had already registered for the race weekend and doesn’t want to compete in the virtual event has the option to defer their run until the 2021, 2022 or 2023 events.

I hope not. If the organizers cap the number of runners to much lesser, they may charge higher registration fees.

And though they can create multiple start waves, there is simply no way to maintain safe distance once into the race itself.

Before Covid, flying was increasing joy.
But after Covid, we should see a reduction in flying for the near term.

Covid-19 heralds changes in human behavior and habits - Social Distancing.

The Airline Industry foresees a "new normal"...Safe Distancing on board measures mean...higher ticket price.

Pay less (mass events) in the past, may be Pay more (safe distancing) in the future.
Why Pay for just Elite-only Race, when you can Pay for Virtual Race or Free.

Run free or Pay to Run are just so different.

Running as a solitary fitness or mental healthy pursuit is one thing, but for many runners, the social aspect of the sport comes out in racing. Races are community celebrations of the running lifestyle. That part of the sport has been dealt a devastating blow, and officials fear it could take years to recover.

CB Rules: Outdoor Exercise (Alone) with Mask (Exempted for Run and Brisk Walking at Hilly Parks).

CB/LockDown/MCO/Pre-Covid-19 Restriction Rules: No Gathering, Not more than 2, Not more than 10, Not more than 250).

Additional costs incurred by public transport operators due to COVID-19 not 'adequately covered' by fares: Khaw Boon Wan

(CNA News)

Additional costs incurred by public transport operators because of the COVID-19 outbreak are not "adequately covered" by current fares and will "eventually have to be borne by operators and taxpayers", said Minister for Transport Khaw Boon Wan on Tuesday (May 5).

In a written reply to a parliamentary question by Nominated MP Walter Theseira - who had asked about the impact of safe distancing on public transport services - Mr Khaw said that ridership and fare revenues have plunged while expenses have increased during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Are you looking forward to Races after CB SG (June 1)? OMG! no cheap, no sign-up. Only time will tell what changes will be happening or forthcoming.

COVID-19: SafeEntry digital check-in system deployed to more than 16,000 venues

(CNA News)

The SafeEntry digital check-in system, which logs employees' and visitors' entry into businesses to facilitate contact tracing, has been deployed to more than 16,000 venues to date, said the Ministry of Health and Smart Nation and Digital Government Office in a joint release on Saturday (May 9).

Developed by the Government Technology Agency, SafeEntry requires visitors to scan their identification card so that the system can record their arrival and departure times. The system reduces the manual effort needed by businesses to track visitor movements and eases crowds at entry points, according to the SafeEntry website.

SARS, You get it, you know it. Constant high fever.

COVID 19 is asymmetric spread...those who don't think they have it, carry it around for 2 weeks, infect everybody.. last stage when they get it, they technically only has 2 weeks of life remained if left untreated.

Don't play play....hack robot...it can fight back after Covid-19 Challenges...

A moment of silence for all those who thought this was an experiment with real robot...actually..
