It’s true. I had tons of gels and snacks left, which I bright along. In the end could finish cos those supplied at checkpoints were good enough. Esp the latter stages as o was walking mostly and no need to really eat.
Same as well. Own time Own Target. You can go off course, stop and pause at any of the checkpoint and come back later.
For Craze ultra the checkpoints are quite well stocked with food (fruits, biscuits, cup noodles if you are running 101km) so I don't think anyone bothered with carrying their oenw ration.
