2XU Compression Run 2019 - 07 Apr (Sun)

Recommended Posts

Once again, i am flagging out the rates, look again, $80, $70 for a half-marathon, not cheap cheap run, close to $100 for a half. Cut all the quarrels short and sweet, if paying that high amount for such standards, Just give it a miss next year!

We should move on !

OhMyGod,

A Stomper who participated in the 10km race alerted Stomp to the situation & "None of the competitive prizes has been realised".

Pink Apply said that race results have already been tabulated but will only be posted "upon fulfilment of a contractual obligation by Key Power International".

In response to a Stomp media query, Key Power Sports said: "For the 2XU Compression Run result, there are technical issues and we are doing our best to update as soon as we can."

Any bicycle with speed/cadence sensor would have better distance accuracy compared to gps. It does not need to be IAAF standard, but at least organizer should make effort to measure distance properly. Those sensor would be like under 100$, hire one guy to bike along with the pacer. I guess it would be worthy small investment for the purpose of the race. Using gps as measurement is just lazy

Aren't we glad that this shameful saga has finally been reported by The Straits Times? At least the non-running public will now know Pink Apple and Key Power have left a stain to their corporate image that left more than 15,000 runners angry and frustrated. Ultimately when the results get released, or even not, few runners remember your good. But all runners will remember your bad.

I'm not sure why PA is being blamed when PA is also a victim of non-payment. You guys should go after KPI since KPI collected your money & not PA. If KPI has paid all vendors, this saga would not have happened right?
