Income Eco Run 2018 - 29 Apr (Sun)

Recommended Posts

The colour is as expected...and its unique enough that I would recognise the run from the colour.... haaa... the design is cartoon and adds a casual side to it...

How come no more shuttle bus from Punggol MRT for this year?

take free bike to Sengkang MRT. Probably not enough runners from Pungool with the falling sign-up

looks like thats the case... the numbers have fallen drastically over the years... let's see if 2018 is even worse...

Race Route out

I think 90% similar to 2XU route.

Good news for those who ran SCKLM. The race route will feel new as compared to running the route again (2XU and Run 350).
Looks like will never escape running away from the GBB + Marina + East Coast area ....

Yeah...almost same route as 2XU.

Punggol waterway - Coney Islands seems building a lot of PCN, hope more HM events could be there.

Pcn has width limitations. Difficult for big events.

The few years I take part in Run350 and 2XU HM, the route is identical or very similar.

What to do.....Singapore is a small island after all.

Well, TPS 21KM was held there last year. Not too bad, not too crowded, but the number of participants is definitely less that 2XU...

The race pack for this race is becoming something of a joke. I think they are taking the 'Zero Waste' theme a bit too far by giving what is basically a 'Zero Race Pack'

Excluding the almost useless vouchers, race packs of the past yrs include useful items like gel, coffee mix, wet tissue, muscle rub, detergent, biscuit, sweets etc. But for the last 3 yrs, the race pack is really 'zero'.

Quite a shame because it has traditionally been quite a decently held event haha. I think I only missed the very first year at Ubin so far.
