not much details... wonder if it would be 3 different locations around Sg again...

Should be. It was after all one of its selling points. I can't imagine running the same venue for the same races thrice!

Really looking forward, I hope it will feature HM other than Marina Bay/Garden by the bay/ECP loop.

given it's high selling point, its likely that it will be in different locations...

The biggest problem with this series is that you are asked to sign up almost blind with little or no confirmation on details of the venue, route etc.

Of course, we know that it's probably next to impossible for all details to be finalised ahead of time. So for asking us to take the giant leap of faith, the organiser should reciprocate and offered a more substantial and meaningful discount if we signed up for all 3 races.

IIRC, the discount offered last yr was meager and not very significant. -_-

for the reasons mentioned above, I skipped 2016 TPS and will also skip 2017 TPS.

Not that desperate for a running tee and medal since I have medals in shoebox, carton, drawer and some other places in ze house

2016, I ran all 5 location of the series. I find the race was well organised, and different venue refreshing. Reasonably cheaper than most commercialise runs.

Any race that is not at held at the Garden by the bay area gets my attention.

I had skipped TPS 2016 as there weren't much infor prior to early bird registration.... hope TPS 2017 has slightly more infor other than the dates.... else I would feel uncomfortable to sign up... and once I missed the early bird, usually I would not sign up the race anymore...

I just clicked on the race website and noticed that the fees are already listed. Were they listed previously?

And the fees are not exactly cheap.

Thanks Beast. Nope, they were not listed previously.

Agree with your it's not cheap. And as expected, the 7% saving is insignificant. -_-

Last yr main selling pt was the 5-peiece medal jigsaw. This yr selling pt is the medal hanger.

I will update the first post for easy reference.

Fees itself many runners here had mentioned.. I think part of the cost goes to the medal hanger itself which would easily cost about $15 if bought online.... so for those who really needs a hanger, u can minus off $5 or more from each individual race assuming the  medal cost $15... haa... to make those on the fence feel better...hahah

$15 for a medal hanger?? I dun think I seen it so cheap before. Most at leat $50.

No lah. I disagree. The race fee is supposed to be a packaged fee (like a buffet). Not an ala carte meal like what RunFree is doing. So we can't just say the medal is worth $15, so race fee is $50 and then make a decision based on that price. It just does mot makes sense.

It would make sense if we are given an option (like RunFree).

depends on the material... and those $50 you seen are from US and Europe.... lucky I don't need them...

I think more runs will be operating like RunFree in the time to come... just that more logistics needed from the organiser...

kcslchin provided link goes to facebook. The correct url should be this >> https://qoolmartevents.com/

And so now it's confirmed, it is YACR! :lazy:

Basically, there is no saving. It's still the same price as the bundled fee but with additional stuff like socks and calf guard thrown in. The delivery of the entitlement will probably be attractive to some.

For some, the free compressport calf sleeve or socks might tilt them to sign up - for all 3 events!

How come qoolmart can afford to sponsor additional freebies?
