Same as well. Own time Own Target. You can go off course, stop and pause at any of the checkpoint and come back later.
For Craze ultra the checkpoints are quite well stocked with food (fruits, biscuits, cup noodles if you are running 101km) so I don't think anyone bothered with carrying their oenw ration.
Don't be surprised the upcoming Income Eco Run 2019 race result may be released earlier than this "gone case" !
Looks like 2XU Compression Run may follows the Newton Challenge footpath (offline became online or virtual run)...
Yes, it is a free and easy run. I ran to the nearby foodcourt/7-11 for my lunch and dinner. At the end of each loop, the official stamped your card so you (and they) can keep track of the numbers of completed loop. Unlike the Craze Ultra, this time round, I got real food in my system to sustain the run.
Respect and congrats for finishing 2 marathons at one go of 16 hours!
This is a "Own Time Own Target" run so you are free to run any number of laps, start and stop whenever you want, pause and continue whenever you want.
No food provided, runners will need to stop and pause the run and head off to a nearby eatery if they need food. If not they stop till they complete the targeted number of loops.
