Will u spend money to fly there to join the marathon if u know that u will never meet the cut off of 5 hours?

No point.

If you want to go overseas events and tour, you can sign up Half Marathons instead.

Agree with sicklycat. No point stressing yourself out if you cannot meet the cut off timing.

Better to train for it to enjoy the event scenery within the cut off timing 5 hours gun timing.

Took a quick look at the event info at http://marathon.donga.com/seoul/international_e1.html

Anyone joining this race??? i wanna hear some reviews about this as well for 2015.... saw a few other reviews for previous years though...

You can use the past reviews as a gauge since not many forum members are doing this event due to the tougher cut off timing (5 hours).

true.... 5hrs is indeed stringent.... and it might be too cold for people like us who aren't used to such weather....

One needs time to get used to cold weather by coming in early to acclimatize before doing the race.

Based on Korea's average weather forecast from the Korea Tourism website, March's average weather is actually conducive. (http://asiaenglish.visitkorea.or.kr/ena/AK/AK_EN_1_1_2.jsp),
