I finished within the group of the last 10 runners before the cut off time. Distance on my GPS is quite off but the overall route is there.

Did the 15km last yr.

Upgraded to the 25km this yr.

**Was not 100% prepared cos I fell ill every month since Dec and was out of training for 10-14 days each month.

Manage to complete in 1 piece with soreness.

Stairs and stairs...really wished I had more time to train on stairs.

The upwards slopes and stairs was horror. I just couldn't manage it. Had to stop at almost every less than 10 steps to take breather.

Only manage to redeem myself when I went downslope.

Insufficient mileage caused me to lose time on flatter ground.

However, thou I was disappointed that I didn't train enough. I am happy with my timing. It was better than target (1st target 5hrs, 2nd target 6hrs).

Will attempt 50km next yr and hope no hiccups. But only 1 advise is to really train for it. It's really not an easy feat to do 50km or 100km!

Thanks. It should be 24hrs...23hrs 59min 59sec....is a big difference from 23hrs

You can read about my 50km last year at http://run-to-live.blogspot.sg/2014/03/translantau-2014-50km-race-review.html

I did wrote about how to train for it for every section of the race based on what I went thru.

It would be a surprise is LT100 is not in...whereas HK100 is in.

I believe it's just the application process, LT100 should be in for 2016.
