Great Wall of China Marathon - 1 May 2015

This will be held on 1 May 2015. The race options are FM, HM, 10km and 5km. The website is at -

As from 8 July 2014, the registration fee is US$250.

Note : This Great Wall of China Marathon is not to be confused with the Great Wall Marathon which is another marathon event by another organiser on 16 May 2015.

so this marathon also runs thru part of the great wall of china... same as the other marathon..... sooo..... there are so many similar marathons in china....hahha....

One of it has a weird medal design...regardless of which category you sign up, all the medals are labelled with 5km/10km/21km/42km around it :turned:

Personally, I prefer it to have the specific category label than a mass design for all :rock:

so this marathon also runs thru part of the great wall of china... same as the other marathon..... sooo..... there are so many similar marathons in china....hahha....

Yes .... one of the race is packaged with a Tour Agency and one has to take up the tour package to "tour" this race. And couple with the fact that this is really a climbing and hiking race .... I give up looking for more information on either of this race.

(having deal with and being in China for many years, personally and solely for running, one never really miss being there in China)
