Do Garmin Forerunner 210 show the Split timing per km in the watch history itself?

or do we have to view the timing per km in Garmin Connect only?

Wow sounds bad, band breaking?

Is it the main band or the small rubber piece that hold the big/main band?

Not sure if you guys know what I am referring to...

Anyone can it not be replaced with any third party band from outside? Style does not matter to me that much.

Thanx!

Sept19th >> timing per km? That's the lap timing that you're referring to, and yes it can be viewed from the watch history. Just see your history in the individual lap timing can already..

Drsubaru >> yea it's the main band that I'm referring to..

the straps on my fr210 broke off as well

the replacement watch quoted by the distributors cost slightly less than a new fr210. makes me think hard whether to get a new GPS watch with option to replace straps

So far haven't seen the battery low alert yet when it is in watch mode. In GPS mode, my watch die out after about 20 minutes but I guess the acual duration wil depend on how long the watch has been lying around with the battery draining away.

If not in use, suggest switch off the watch totally to conserve battery.

My soft strap HRM still cannot connect pair with the watch , after doing a reset on the watch and changing the battery inside the HRM. Anyone here face a similar problem and managed to fix it. Grateful for any advice, thanks!

Right before the SCSM 2012, I charged it and turn it off. In the morning of the marathon, it refused to be turned on no matter how I tried. End up running without a watch for pacing.

So, don't turn it off. This is a pretty good and simple watch for recreational runners, but not without bugs.

Anyway, I managed to turn it on after I came back from my holiday trip.

anyone tried swimming with this? not at the beach, but at pools.

so far I haven't tried it yet, though running in the rain and shower are fine so far.

it's water resistance to a certain extent, definately not waterproof.

my FR 210 about 2 years old now. never turn it off. no problem running in the rain with it. just taking care of the strap not to be broken (heard replacement strap expensive). overall, pretty robust!

You mean can replace broken strap in SG? Thought agent here do not have or do not want to have the equipment (surely can't cost very much) to do it. My strap is partly torn and I'm holding it together with glue. From what I can see, it does not seem difficult to change the strap with the proper tools.

Anybody know will fr210 save the current workout - when battery go bottom? Gonna try it one of this day to make sure...

Ever try the app garmin fit on my phone when battery died - and it did save the workout! But it might be features of the phone...

my fr210 is about 17 months old, two weeks ago it showed a blank screen. I tried all methods available online to boot the device but to no avail. At last, I brought it to the service center at ubi, was quote $140 to frieght the watch back for repair as warranty was already expired.

Does anyone knows of any third party garmin watch repair shop in Singapore?

Please advice!

can anyone advise on key diff between 210 & 610 functions? am not sure whether i should pay a few hundred dollars more for the 610.

i'm also thinking of buying online - anyone has tried that before pls? just wondering if i hv to pay for SG maps (pardon my ignorance how these work), or if the US charger can be used here? thanks!

610 (http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2011/04/garmin-forerunner-610-in-depth-review.html)is the more advanced running watch as compared to 210 (http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2010/12/garmin-forerunner-210-in-depth-review.html).You can read up DCrainmaker reviews which i have provided before deciding.

Buying online is possible if the price including shipping fee is cheaper than what you can get in Singapore distributors/retailers (http://www.garmin.com.sg/distributor/singapore/). Nope, you don't need to pay for SG maps as the GPS running watch can detect the location based on our current location, making it good for use in overseas countries as well =)

I'm looking at buying online, because the limited edition is not available in SG, not because of pricing.

Do you mean this one --> http://www.valuebasket.com.sg/en_SG/Garmin-Forerunner-210-GPS-Sports-Watch-%28Multi-Color%29/mainproduct/view/11982-AA-WH

You can try the retailers at Sim Lim Square to see if they have it first before buying it online? =)

Thanks! Will check them out!
