  1. I was in the last wave which started only 0030 hrs with slight drizzle.  Super delayed! Those going for FM will be stressed.

At certain places with 1 lane,  too congested with runners from both FM & HM.

Hydration points were run out of water & Pocari, bananas & energy gels from 9 Km till 15 Km. Nothing! How can this be?

Best thing was my friend was given 10 Km finisher medal instead of HM! What a joke sia... Lucky my friend checked & exchanged for the correct one.

? Thank you bro. Last year the Swissotel Vertical Marathon clashed with King of The Trails - Race 4 on the same morning. So I had to finish SVM first, then rushed to KOTT, I still remember that both races got delay due to the downpour in the early morning. Anyway, totally agree with you that preventing injury and completing the race safely are the most important things. ??

Bro, you are welcome. Always listen to your body & to stay injury free.

    2. Totally agreed with you that it's a weird timing to get home at 3AM, 'cause we have similar pace. So how? this year I registered Pinnacle@Duxton Vertical Challenge, in the morning of Sunday/2nd June at 7AM, which means after completing sundown HM, I will go back to office (close to f1 building) and take a power nap, get up in the morning and conquer Singapore's highest HDB, then go home...

I did something crazy like you last year. After finishing my Straits Time 18.45 KM event, went immediately to another place to do a Vertical Challenge of 78 floors. Regretted immediately 'cos my legs turned jelly & struggling all the way.

    All the best to you.

    Dear All

Myself and colleague have secured a slot for the 15 km run. This would be our first overseas trail run. Is there any group from Singapore participating in this trail event and if we could join them.

    Thanks

Hi @Sundeep, welcome to the forum. Do enjoy yourself here.

Unfortunately, i did not get a slot due to logged in late. Most probably i will do it next year. Good luck to you for the race & review the race here. Cheers.

Which distance are you joining for Nutz?

You can stop at any checkpoint for Nutz, take a cab down to do this run, after this run cab back to the same checkpoint to resume the Nutz run.

Are you that Nutz to do it?

Wah you see me very upz but i'm very sure i will DNF for Nutz if i follow your advise. Lol...

As much as I want to revisit this race for the 55km or 72km distance, I already made plans for that weekend so will give this a miss again this year.

Selfishly hoped the run would be postponed to another week (maybe closer to SCMS like last year). If not all the best to those signing up!

I would have preferred held on November 'cos no major runs.

Anyway, race routes are out with slight change. No Woodlands Waterfront as one of the check point.
