  1. Nice seeing all the TFB and the other runners, did my solo, lone wolf run fr my place to my mum's. Simei - Clementi think i might just make it an annual affair kinda nice. Did that last year too before Sundown. Took the route, Tampines, loyang, netheravon road and hitting changi village, changi coastal, ECP, Ford road, Kampung Arang, Nicoll highway, Marina, Orchard, Holland road and Clementi Ave 2 market for breakfast. The distance 46km. I suffered tremendously from 39km onwards oweing to sleep deprivation and was like a zombie, sleepwalking...go to know that, coz i would be using ginseng on

  7. Dream and Ultra thanks for organising this morning's wonderful and cooling run for us "tourists". The route is a welcome change from the ECP routes and certainly was real challenging and i enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks too for the 100 plus, bananas from the HKB (hokkien beng) and the nice and sweet tasting kumquat. Love the hills and rough terrain find that its much kinder to my legs and back compared to the hard concrete grounds of ECP. Just that gotta watchout for the uneven grounds, rocks and sometimes the tree branches which are low hanging. Just wished i was living near there and would go

  14. yo zco, i tried the peanut-butter and it works for me... not having that hungry feeling liao :tongue_smilie: Great! Another thing like to share with all runners. Another one of the food which helps one sustain energy is cheap and good. Sweet potatoe, steam it and you are ready to go. To your liking, one can sprinkle some salt on it and it will be dual purpose.(salt stick sweet potatoe) Was shopping with my kids at Tampines Toys r Us and chanced upon the "noodle" foam which is acutally used in the pool for water aerobics, kids to play with in the pool. I tested it and it seems to be relati

  20. Its raining kinda heavily now, the rain just started around 15 minutes ago at Simei area. Hope the rain stops in time and it will be a good cool morning's run. I will not be running though today...my body need to rest for tomorrow's PI run or else my back will start rebelling and all my future runs will be in jeopardy. Wishing everyone a good run. Just take note of what ultra sifu said hydration is of utmost importance..even though the weather might be cooling.
  21. Guess what on the way back when we ran past the bus stop i saw the owner crossing the road with her bicycle! Luckily still in working condition if not got to go and compensate her! Tigger thanks for the ad hoc bag deposit, Licht thanks for the uplifting brownies there were yummie! Tiwazz thanks for the drinks! Tigger you are very humble, had problems keeping up with you during the hill and run back to the start point. Luckily for licht's brownie was very hungrrrry, lucky for the noise of traffic if not u fellas might hear my stomach growling!

  24. thanks for running together with mi this morning... also thanks to terry / zco / passion... but i lost everyone during my last 4km... due to pain in my knee... so embarrassing to let everyone waited... Costner, Great that you were able to finish should give yourself a pat on the back, take care of your knees hope it gets better. During the run you mentioned you get hungry rather fast. May i suggest to you that maybe u try peanut butter. Take a spoonful of peanut butter with a banana during normal day and see how long it will last you plus water u will be surprised. Then try it b
