  1. whahaha.... i didnt stress him leh..... he has done his best and it is almost impossible to get the results out so fast..... all based on the vendor.... I had done up my race review in my blog... thanks Joe for the race experience..... https://autumnrunner.wordpress.com/2015/03/15/north-east-compressport-run-2015/
  2. oh... so the results aren't final..... I tell you Joe, if the results are out now.... ur race can really be the contender for the best organised race in 2015......
  3. hahah... anyway since they are running all over SEA to do this, it meant not just Sg is having races without closed category..... so i guess its about right.... still having anice weather now..... real good feeling....
  4. Well, they could always do open/ closed categories to promote the local scene..... But of cos its more mafan for the organisers esp smaller events. Usually for small events like that. i seldom hear organisers putting in open and close category... in the past, there arent a lot of overseas runners coming in to sweep local events, except for the big races of course.... so i think this might be the trend now.... those organisers who are all time doing running events should look into this actually.... to give the locals some possible rewards for their effort
  5. A good run overall...... distance was also shorter than the intended.... same as the others.... the rest of the items were good..... and the weather was so forgiving today.... cant believe it.... such cooling weather was quite rare these days..... Thanks Joe and team for the effort!!! Well Done!!!
  6. I think he has load up a lot of water and maybe reli doesn't have isotonic drink....
  7. Tomorrow is the day!!! Eat and sleep well today. ....
  8. haha...... a family of 2 or 3 children with parents.... I seen them bathing before in the waterway... camping ah....wah.. .thought just come earlier in the morning to setup only?? hahaha..... going to be free laioz after this event..... very fast one.....
  9. Thanks AutumnRunner, Frankly, I may not dare read your review. Is really very detailed as I read your post for other run. Haha. Is gonna be a real stress i believed for me to pick courage to read. However, I appreciated your help to give us review so that we can learn. I will surely pick my courage to read. Hopefully not so bad. Any runners who wish share view after race, please email me at josephtanpngrl@gmail.com Regards Joseph Organizing Chairman North East Compressport Run 2015 relax la Joe... must be confident of what you had organised for us ah...hahah.... i am sure it will be fine.... dun stress yourself too much.... try to get some sleep ah.... testing the route there midnight ah?? got see the family of 4 or 5 dogs??
  10. just enjoy the organizing portion and we just enjoy the run as well.... I will also write a review on the race after the race... so future runners can take a reference from and even Joe can take it as reference too.... for your next in line CC organizing chairman.... haa
  11. I just did a short run at part of the route... Saw signages that ask people to join the race... I thought Its signage for distances... Haaa.... Anyway Joe, will the be distance markers along the route?
  12. That's very generous Joe... Thumbs up... The 7 waterpts are definitely adequate... So hope the volunteers are adequate to pour them too....
  13. Wah Joe, its meant to be a gentle reminder to fellow runners only....hahah.... dun be too stress about it... as long as you had planned it well, a little small hiccups here and there wun spoil the show.....as what dai_van mentioned, the most important for me is hydration at each station and the blockage of returning 21km runners by 10km runners (since its 2 loops for 21km)..... so as long as all are planned for, they will be ok on that day.....smilezz
  14. 3 days to go everyone... Time to rest and Carbo load if needed...
  15. So it will be a back to back run for u this march....
  16. Haha.. One simple countdown lead to so many people getting stress... Just act as reminder only la... HAA.
  17. No problem Joe... I am just trying to help solve some of the minor issues that I think might create a big woohaa if not handled properly... I am just doing my small part as a runner and seeing that u r really trying your best to make things happen, I de idea to go the extra mile... Yes 5 more days and see u at the starting line....
  18. its not just the tan but the glare into the eyes.... hahaha......
  19. anyway, if it is sunny on Sunday, the sun can be up high as early as 715-730am..... and the route from the start to the 1st u-turn is usually quite glaring, probably on the 2nd round ..... so get ready your whatever prep if you are afraid of the sun...
  20. I thought Its about the wrong sizing... I think the colour is very bright... And unique... Wear this from far will know is this race tee... Haaa
  21. I didn't see the mascot leh. ... but the water week race pack has quite a few useful things such as the inflatable water bottle.
  22. Yup.... its one of the cheaper events locally so the items so far are value for money... just ensure the Race itself is ok. .. that's most important....
  23. Thanks Joe for the explanation. One more week to the race.... and i am excited..... I usually wear singlets to run so since this is event tee, i wun be wearing it to run for 21km... i will try to search for a similar colour singlet then.... hahah..... think hard to find......
