SNG Ekiden Race at Bedok Reservoir Bedok Reservoir has been chosen as the competition venue for the first Ekiden Relay Race as it is a popular location in a tranquil setting for fitness enthusiasts. Many schools and organisations conduct regular runs (cross country) at the park’s 4.3km track. It is easily accessible by public transport (many service buses, Bedok Reservoir Downtown Line Station is 5mins walk away) and has ample parking facilities. The venue with different tracks and large open green spaces provide a suitable environment for race programming for a variety of experiences. Registration fees start from as low as $5 (senior and youth) to $15 (adult). Runner’s entitlement: Finisher’s medal Race bib with timing chip Limited edition water bottle and headband Prizes money for the top 5 finishers of each category (T&C applies) National Day Ekiden Race @ BR – Female starts first Total of 6 laps to be completed around the reservoir (4.3km x 6 = 25.8km) Each runner is to complete 2 laps (8.6km) Method: Runners 1 and 3 to be at starting point, Runner 2 at the mid-point. Estimated duration: 3hours. Start time: 7am (Cut off time at 1030am)
  4. Sentosa Adventure Race This is the 2nd years of the SNG Sentosa Adventure Race. Why Sentosa? Sentosa is Asia’s leading leisure destination and Singapore’s premier island resort getaway, where its surrounding free spaces provide a suitable environment (different terrain and experiences all in a single venue) for this event. The event will be held on Saturday 4th August 2018, 0800hrs to 1200hrs, offering participants up to 10 different thematic adventure obstacles, 5 decades of Nation Building experiences (as part of National Day celebrations). The event cover a total distance of approximately 5.3km. Registration fees start from as low as $5 (senior and youth) to $15 (adult).
