  3. They retrieve your timing by BIB number. So we need to bring our SCMS bib as proof that we did the run? Just tell them your BIB number. The engraving is just the timing without category or name. will be there later to engrave!
  4. Honolulu marathon: No cut-off time (according to the website). Basically you can just walk that 42km the whole day. that's a first for me.. the walkers should really take a look at that marathon! somemore can go shopping if they pass by the shopping areas! hahah..
  5. all boils down to the long cut-off hours (have never heard of 8hrs cut-off except in Singapore.. SCMKL is 6 hrs, GCAM is 6hours 40mins at finish point).. and now the diversion which entitles them to the finisher tees and medals..
  6. agreed... it keeps me going.. for that elusive shirt after every race..
  7. well done for your FM.. can relate to the "surprises" sprung by the organisers..
  8. i think the point has been made to SWW.. hopefully they will take it up..
  9. another statement by Spectrum Worldwide in today's news. "Spectrum said it is aware of the feedback and will take it into consideration when planning next year’s edition. But it stood by its decision to re-route slow runners who did not meet the specified time at a diversion point along the race route to a shorter route towards the finishing line — a practice it said has been in place for “several editions” of the SCMS and is contained in the race handbook." i think none of us blame them for the diverting.. but what can be done is to give advanced notice of the diversion.. http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/stanchart-marathon/1523400.html
  10. u can check out the engraving on Adidas facebook page..
  11. this happen to me during AHM 2013 at the Tanjong Rhu bottleneck.. one of the marshals was telling me "that one not correct route! cannot go!".. hey, i wasn't running for the prize money.. why should i get stuck in the bottleneck for more than 30mins..
  12. I also dun rem 2 waves for the below 5 blue bib. One for the elite. One for the blue bib (about 1-2 mins later) and one for red bib (which I was in). I crossed the start line at 5:14:13 (u can get this from yr using the formula gun time - net time + 05:00) but I was not in the front mass of red bib was probably wasn't more than 2 min from the first red bib. as verified with my friend.. wave 2 is the < 5hours.. so >5 hours is wave 3.. my time when i crossed the timing mat at start time was 5.10am.. Yes, i was in the 2nd wave for the <5h blue bibs, but my gun time and net time also 10min difference, so wave 2 was also gunned off at 5.10am? eh.. 5.14am for the timing mat when i crossed.. 5.10am on my watch.. hahaha.. totally forgotten about the difference..

  17. timing mats are 5km in intervals.. so he skipped 15, 20, 21.1, 25 and 30km mats.. he must have either gone to the toilet at B1 and straight u turn or run straight and didnt turn into ECPark..
  18. my guess is they are still processing it.. normally once you entered your bib no., they will show u all the photos, and the videos will be shown below the photos..
  19. Hi!! Did u check yr timing fm marathon photos? Do u realized that the gun time n net time are the same? Is this normal? Thanks.. They've changed it. Last night gun time and net time were different, today they are same, they have increased net time to be the same as gun time, which sucks. They must have done this for everyone though because all my positions for overall/gender/division are the same as yesterday.Still no personal videos Feel so cheated with the gun and net time... so sad...the marathon singapore website is still showing the official time and the net time..
  20. there's an analysis of how each individual did in the race.. can even add friends and how well they did against each other..

  22. yupz.. mine is blue too though i choose above 5 hours..
