A race report by Ironman Dreamer:
The longest i’ve ever taken for a 1.5km swim… 48mins… i think i’ll remember this as long as i shall live… but then again, i must reflect on a positive note too! The shortest i’ve ever taken for a 10km run… 45min 36secs!! i can’t believe it!! i think i’ll just savour the moment …
Got up at 5.30am this morning. My Dad & i went to pick up Balasing at Clementi at 6.40am before heading to ECP. There were many vehicles en route to F2 car park.. it was a single lane 1 way traffic only.
Saw DO 1st before Balasing & I went to register & got our body marked.. after we placed our stuff in the TA, we bumped into sxuanjing, skyhigh, alvo, meteor, tiwazz, astrogirl, sportventurer, kops21, Eddie, Sam, Fong, Hyperactive, and many others …
Near the swim start area, bumped into my ex-colleagues.. great to see them here.. 1 of them couldn’t take part as he was injured. Another 2 were passing by in East Coast & chanced upon this event, & took the opportunity to use their professional-looking cam to take event pics..
