On the day just before the New Balance Real Run, i experienced a great tummy upset… must be something wrong i ate on Sat afternoon… oh man, i had a bad feeling about this cos i would be terribly disappointed if i couldn’t make it for the run after looking forward to it for so long.. when i reached home in the evening, i took some fruits, then went to bed, hoping a nap would help extinguish the tummy ache… it was really windy, causing me to feel cold & uncomfortable, so i closed the window & just lay on my bed.. even i covered myself with a blanket, i felt cold.. i think i was falling sick.. i then took paracetemol and tried to sleep.. but try as i could, i couldn’t get to sleep.. my stomach was really not feeling good. later at night, i could feel my body was not that cold anymore & i was perspiring under the blanket.. i then knew i was recovering! yippeee!!! i then took an orange and lots of water, then tried to sleep.. not sure what time i managed to doze off, but in the morning i managed to wake up at 6am for breakfast, pushing myself to go for the run no matter what…
